We want to find workplaces around the UK that are using innovative schemes to improve the health and wellbeing of their workforce.
Have you started up your own lunchtime running group or campaign to reduce staff sickness absence? Then you should apply to be an NHS Employers Healthy Staff Champion today.

As a healthy staff champion you’ll be letting the world know what a great place you are to work, how well you look after your own and what you’re willing to do to boost the quality of care given to your patients.
You’ll receive a prime spot on our ‘Your Health Matters’ showcasing your health and wellbeing project and be added to our list of NHS Employers healthy staff champions.
How?
Email nursingtimescomments@emap.com with:
- No more than 800 words describing your health and wellbeing project that you’ve put into practice for staff at your workplace. What did you do and why? How did you do it? What were the results? Do you have any future next steps you’d still like to put into practice?
- A jpeg photo of you and your team
- Details of where you work, who was involved in organising the project and their job titles
