In response to a report that highlighted the social exclusion of people with learning disabilities, the University of Ulster and Triangle Housing Association joined forces to produce an interactive CD toolkit for health professionals.

The project was led by  professor of learning disability  and research associate Suzanne Collins.

'It's as if there is a glass wall separating people with a disability from the rest of society,' said Professor McConkey. 'We believe this CD-ROM will help staff and organisations to review their work priorities and create more socially inclusive services for people with a learning disability'.
