No surprises here. You get what you pay for. I'd be interested to see the reality gap between HEE's proposed funding/strategy delivery in a six month period & real terms impact for staff and service users.
Yes I completely agree that the NMC are there as a regulator to protect the public from malpratice. the same as with any other health profession really however that is zero justification for such inflated salaries (as with all other corporate greed). I felt physically sick when I saw the title of this article in my emails. Talk about detcahed from reality!!
Qualified in 2000 when it was £72 for 3 years. Then it became annually. At the proposed £120 a year that would be an annual increase of £96 from in comparison to the 2000 fee..........
