Nurses asked to identify research priorities

The James Lind Alliance

Nurses, patients and carers are being asked to identify and prioritise treatment uncertainities relating to urinary incontinence as part of a project that aims to influence the research agenda in the UK.

The project is led by the James Lind Alliance and they have asked NT readers to fill in a questionnaire about uncertainties that affect their practice.

The Alliance was established in 2004 with the aim of encouraging patients and practising clinicians to work together to try to ensure that the most important uncertainties which affect everyday clinical practice are addressed by research. The questionnaire forms part of a report that will be sent to the NHS Health Technology Assessment Programme and the Medical Research Council. The closing date for comments is 30th June.
