A study that explored patients' perceptions of using different catheter materials for clean intermittent self catheterisation has concluded that there was no difference in ease of use and comfort between PVC and PVC-free catheters.
The randomised multi-centre double blind study, presented at the International Continence Society conference in Cairo, included 195 subjects from 6 countries and 13 centres.
