the nhs needs to be cleaned up, how many of us have patients on the ward who are healthy enough to be discharged but cannt because there is no safe place to discharge them to. wether its the torie or labour both have closed wards. what needs to be done is a running the hospitals as a profit making business. Ealing hospital had nothing in place in the A&E to take or record private insurance information of the foriegn university students who booked in for treatment and this attitude that the government will subsedise the NHS is why we must chane all our attitudes

yea I see how proud you are that you are to shamed to give your name becuase you know that this is what happens in most hospitals. Most nurses see their work as a job and treat it like a job instead of remembering we are dealing with peoples lives. I was trained to treat my patient as how I would want my mother or father to be treated.

  • Comment on: “Nurses should defy the deeply embedded doctor-nurse game”

    john warwick's comment 29-Oct-2011 8:48 pm

NUrse are inferior to doctors. if I wanted to be a doctor then I would have gone to medical school , but instead I went to nursing school which did not require A levels. and I did a three year program of education not a 5 year degree. so it is totally inapropriate to to say that doctors and nurses are equal

by using specif race cards we do discriminate where I come from the patient is the patient not a black or asian and the nurse is a nurse by labeling people we do a big diservice to all . people are people no matter what the colour
