Welcome to Nursing Times Market Research site. On this page you can apply to join one of our new research panels and start earning exclusive rewards.
Are you a nurse interested in being compensated to help with market research?
Nursing Times, with the help of researchers MedeConnect, is looking for nurses willing to be part of online research panels to help companies and organisations find out what they think about a variety of services, products and issues.
MedeConnect, the research arm of online doctor’s community Doctors.net, already has thousands of doctors on its books who now earn prizes for filling in research questionnaires online. Prizes vary from John Lewis or Marks & Spencers vouchers to as much as £100 cash for individual research reponses.
Why is my help needed?
Increasingly, MedeConnect says its clients - which include NHS organisations and pharmaceutical amd medical devices companies - want nurses’ views so they can improve their plans and products. So they are working with Nursing Times to set up panels to research the views of key groups such as clinical specialist nurses.
Clients are happy to incentivise nurses to give up their valuable time online for their views, so any work you do to help us with online questionnaires will be well compensated.
How do I get started?
If you would like to opt in to be considered to join a research panel, first we need to collect some data on you to authenticate your position in the NHS and your specialisms in the survey below. If you fill in this survey, you will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a spa day - whether you are accepted onto our panels or not - to thank you for your interest.
The data you give us will let us know whether you are the type of nurse we need for our online research panels, as well as ensure that we only send you research questionnaires that are relevant and targeted to what you know.
What will be required of me if I am accepted onto a research panel?
Once we have checked the data you give us in the above survey, we will let you know by email whether or not you have been accepted into a research panel.
After this you will subsenquently be sent emails with links to online research questionnaires from time to time, to be filled out on nursingtimes.net. These will vary in length from 10 to 40 minutes.
What the questionnaires ask will vary depending on what the research client wants. To be clear, all questionnaires will be completed online; there is no paperwork to fill out or anything to post. Also you are not required to fill out all the questionnaires which are sent to you; you can fill in as many or as few as you want.
How will I be compensated for my time?
As mentioned above, nurses can expect to earn in the region of a £10-15 voucher for a 10 minute survey to around £100 for longer surveys. Obviously, the more research you take part in, the more compensation you will get for your work.
Please note: By filling in the survey above you will automatically be registered on the Nursing Times website, if you are not already registered. Once we’ve processed your details, we’ll send you a log-on that you can then use to sign on and, if you choose, sign up for one or more of our newsletters.
