Great article. Have tweeted this as I really think you are totally and absolutely right in what you are saying. Student nurses think so little of themselves when really if we knew our true worth our lives would be so much easier. Respect the student uprising! P.S. I didn't know you were at the awards. I would have loved to have caught up I really enjoy your articles. What's your twitter handle? :)

Should we give Jane Cummings a break? After all, someone needs to have the courage to step up to the helm, which Jane has done with the 6Cs. Is it that nursing has had many chiefs in the past and the Indians have been let down too many times for any leader to ever gain our trust again? Who on earth could take on a leadership position in nursing with 100% trust of all nurses. Florence Knightingale? Thoughts....
