Women given three day alcohol free challenge
NHS Birmingham East and North is encouraging women to have at least three alcohol-free days every week by signing up to the “3 Days Booze Free” challenge.
The challenge kicked off last week and lasts for three months, allowing women to complete the challenge before enjoying the Christmas season.
The primary care trust’s director of health improvement Nicola Benge said: “Recent research shows that drinking every day, even in small amounts, can significantly increase the risk of liver disease, so having three days every week without alcohol reduces the risk of serious harm.”

I can't believe people need encouragement for this! Three days a week? It's hardly 40 days and nights in the desert people! I mean drinking EVERY day???? WHY????

This would lead you to believe we are a nation of alcoholics. I don't know anyone that drinks every day and if you do then you definately have a problem.

I've chcked the campaign website and i can't quite believe how sexist it is.
Do women not do anything else apart from domestic tasks, eating, and watching TV ?
Also if you are going to be the target of this will gin and tonic really be your drink of choice ?
