ACA announce the 2010 Dorothy Mandelstam Award
This annual award acknowledges the pioneering continence work of Dorothy Mandelstam who was a founder member of the Association for Continence Advice (ACA)
Applicants should submit a 2000 word case study on intermittent self catheterization (ISC). All submissions must include4of the 6 criteria identified below.
- Historical perspective of ISC.
- Indications for ISC, to include patho-physiology.
- Advantages of ISC.
- Patient education involved with ISC.
- Characteristics of catheters for ISC.
- Patient perspective.
The winner will receive £2000 and be given the opportunity to present their paper at the ACA annual Conference.
Completed case studies should be submitted by 30th April 2010. All applicants must be members of the ACA. For information about ACA membership and the award click here
