GPs unsure over continence issues
Health services in the UK and Europe are failing to prioritise the treatment and management of continence, claims research presented last week at the Global Forum of Incontinence in Prague.
A survey of about 550 GPs in the UK, Poland and France found just five per cent were “totally confident” when dealing with continence issues. The research also flagged up a lack of funding and clear, clinical management pathways.
