Former Cambridge chief nurse joins Kent hospital trust

  • Comment

Medway Foundation Trust has appointed a new chief nurse.

Steve Hams is joining from Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust, where he has been working as interim director of nursing.

The appointment was noted in the Kent trust’s April board papers.

The documents stated: “Steve will be joining us on 24 June and there will be an overlap period with Susan Osborne the interim director of nursing to ensure a smooth handover.”

Mr Hams’ appointment comes at a time of change for the trust, which is also looking for a new medical director, and has recently appointed a new director of governance and strategy, and a new director of organisational development and communications.
