Macmillan launch 'My Cancer treatment' website

  • Comment

A cancer diagnosis can leave many people feeling powerless. Just having more information about the team treating you or where you can access the service can make you feel more in control – and this is exactly what the My Cancer Treatment website provides.

Macmillan has proudly partnered with the NHS on a one of a kind website ‘My Cancer Treatment’ (, to help patients and their healthcare providers make informed decisions when deciding where to be treated in England.

This website is truly unique, providing detailed assessments for the specific clinical team, including national benchmarking.

You can search and compare most cancer services in England and it could be used in an array of patient situations; whether patients are newly diagnosed, seeking reassurance, or after a second opinion.

Leaflets and posters are available to download on be.Macmillan.

Please visit My Cancer Treatment and see how easy it is to compare your local services.

The reports on My Cancer Treatment are brought to you by the National Peer Review Programme, an NHS quality assurance team that has been assessing cancer services nationally since 2004.

Any feedback or questions please contact Stefenie Milosz, from the National Peer Review Programme, or 0113 8249 245.
