The electorate of this country will ultimately get the NHS they deserve. They vote morons like Cameron in to power.....so they get everything that's coming to them. Sympathy? Zilch.

anonymous 23 Jan 1.20 Your arrogance and ignorance knows no bounds. Your grammar also indicates you may need to take a little more time with your clinical notes/prescriptions (you might make a few less errors!!!).

Welander Linh..are you a nurse? Your comments are a perfect example of the apathy within nursing and why things will never change. Privatise the NHS indeed.....you must be a raving tory. Sections of the NHS are already in private hands with disastrous consequences for patient health..eg Eccleshill treatment centre (bradford)....managed to kill a patient who went for his gallbladder removing...there are scores more examples. Mike you are spot on in your analysis. Ultimately the RCN are to blame in my book. The blue rinsed hand maidens are completely to blame for the state of nursing in the UK.

Shocking! Yet more penny pinching. Why on earth would anybody choose nursing as a career?

Hospital nursing must be a nightmare for many poor nurses. i left the hospital environment after just 12 months. The paperwork, lack of support, stress, anti-social hours, stupid relatives, stupid doctors did for me. I wouldn't recommend nursing as a career to my worst enemy (well not in a hospital role anyway). Get out and get in to community! It's a different world :)
