"Don't be so ptronising as to think all nurses wouldn't vote BNP cos i bet quite a few already do. They should be no more ashamed than those who voted for a govt that decided mass uncapped immigration would be the cornerstone of it's time in office......." If, as you claim, the BNP are just like every other party and are now respectable then why didn't you post your name like those of us who are against the BNP? All these anonymous BNP sympathisers don't appear to have the courage of their convictions. Let's be clear, regardless of the many problems with new Labour, Gordon Brown does not advocate the euthanasia of disabled people or the forced sterilisation of those with mental illness unlike the leaders of the BNP. Nor do any of the main parties support what Hitler and the Nazis did. The BNP have stated that they will get rid of the NHS if ever they came to power. Instead of voting for nazis, those of us in the NHS who want to defend services and provide excellent health care should reject the horrors of BNP fascism and organise collectively to protect jobs and services and ensure that the NHS remains a safe place for our clients and patients to receive treatment and care. We can't do this if we're forced to work with BNP members who disguise their true intentions and who plan to destroy the NHS. Leading health care organisations including doctors, nurses, midwives and the unions that represent us reject the BNP. This is because the BNP is a nazi organisation that wants to destroy our NHS. Nazi BNP members have no place in the NHS.

Graham Roy is entirely correct. The BNP are a Nazi organisation. Their leaders are liars who try to cover up their admiration for Hitler and the Nazis. Check out Searchlight and Unite Against Fascism websites to find out what the BNP really stand for. Do we really want another Holocaust and the forced sterilisation of so called "undesirables" as defined by the BNP? The BNP support what the Nazis did and want to emulate then even though they try to hide the true nature of their revolting politics. Their leaders have condemned themselves out of their own mouths. As a former NHS Mental Health worker who has returned to studying and is a member of Unison I would not like to work alongside any NHS staff who subscribe to Nazi ideology. How can we support and treat our clients and patients safely when one of our colleges considers them or us undesirable and disposable? As NHS workers we have a duty of care and nazi ideology is in direct conflict with this. If the BNP leaders lie about their true intentions how can we trust any of their members to carry out their duty of care? The BNP use the immigration argument as a hook to pull voters towards their nazi politics. The reality of Nazi Germany was death camps and the importation of millions of slave labourers who worked until they died. In reality the BNP have no problem with immigration as long as they can use immigrants as expendable slave labour. Some NHS staff may consider this information incredibly shocking or unbelievable but please read the information on Searchlight and Unite Against Fascism to discover what the BNP really stand for. I can assure you I can't convey in this post the true horror of their politics. http://www.uaf.org.uk/ http://www.searchlightmagazine.com/

  • Comment on: Calls to ban 'nasty, racist' BNP members from nursing

"I must say that I am shocked by the majority of views displayed here, to the point where it appears that the BNP might have placed a few "plants" on this website to make some of these comments. A well known tactic amongst fascist groups endeavoring to make them appear mainstream." It appears that some posters are ignorant about the politics of the BNP or think that the BNP's support for the policies of the Nazis is somehow compatible with the NHS. It is rather shocking to read NHS workers using the free speech argument to support a Nazi organisation like the BNP considering the BNP's support for the Holocaust. The mass extermination of so-called "undesirables" will be one of their key policies should the BNP ever come to power. So much for the so-called "free speech" of our clients and fellow workers who are disposed of by them. Let's stop them now and prevent another atrocity like the Holocaust and forced sterilisations from ever happening again.

The BNP are a nazi organisation that support the politics of Hilter and the Nazis. Need I remind anyone of the Holocaust and the forced sterilisation of people whom the Nazis considered inferior. The Nazis also experimented on people in their death camps. The BNP supports this ideology and it doesn't matter whether their leader or their members lie about this fact they have already been convicted by the words of their own leading members. Visit Searchlight and Unite Against Fascism for evidence of what the BNP really believe. How can any member of the BNP including the nursing member in this thread claim that they do not subscribe to this horrific ideology when they support what the Nazis did in Germany? BNP members are not fit to work in the NHS because they are racists and believe in eugenics and the extermination of people they consider inferior. As a former mental health worker in the NHS I would not want to work alongside a member of the BNP because they hold these beliefs. How can any client or worker trust them to offer an impartial service when they consider the people they are working with to be worthless and disposable? What about the safety and free speech of the people we are meant to be treating and protecting?
