'Rising stars' sought in IBD nursing

The RCN’s inflammatory bowel disease specialist interest group wants to honour ‘rising stars’ in the field of IBD nursing.

On offer is an expenses paid trip for a ward nurse to attend the IBD nursing school taking place at the European Crohns and Colitis Organisation annual conference in Prague in February 2010.

Nominations should include a 300-word summary outlining the difference the applicant or nominee has made to the care of IBD patients and why attending the school would benefit their career. Nurses may nominate themselves or be nominated by a colleague.

Send submissions to Catherine Stansfield, chair of the RCN IBD specialist interest group, by 1 September.
