Elderly using Wii Fit to improve wellbeing
West London Mental Health NHS Trust has introduced Wii Fit units to help older patients improve their physical and mental wellbeing, reversing the age-old preconception that elderly people and technology do not mix.
Anne Daly, a senior nurse manager at the day centre where the devices have been introduced, said: “The various exercise programmes help improve service users’ balance, coordination, stamina and energy.”

another scandalous waste of money. the elderly need people contact not more machines this is why there are so many mental health problems in the first place!
