Hi Ally, Can you let me know the link to your blog? I too suffer from Depression and am now in my 2nd year of studying. I have had a few 'wobbles' on the way and worries about accessing counselling support, etc. It would be interesting to hear how you have managed. Regards Tracy
Dear Ally, You may find the self help leaflets provided by Northumberland, Tyne and Wear helpful. They are freely available at: http://www.ntw.nhs.uk/pic/selfhelp They also have leaflets that cover a range of psychological distressing conditions.
I've been through what you have been through and I can warmly recommend you a website which has been provided by a counselling service. These tools helped a lot. Wishing you good luck and better days ;-)
Can you please provide me your blog's link, I want to read it. Nursing is one of these stressful professions, the student are in situations which require the taking of important decisions about patient care. Stress and depression may prejudice the performance of student nurses.
