i am the fracture liaison nurse for the mid-yorkshire nhs trust (secondary care) it would be good to liaise with other nurses in this field of work to swap ideas. my aim is to capture patients who come through a/e or admitted with a fragility fracture falling a simple fall and assessing them to see if they are at risk of developing osteoporosis and getting them the right treatment. i have been in post 9 months but it is very slow going!
