Get your diploma and then do the degree, but for what it's worth, I didn't find the degree course any more challenging than the diploma course (apart from doing it part time whilst working full time) Best wishes

Anonymous | 21-May-2012 6:17 pm I was at RCN Congress when the news broke about the NMC hike in fees, it was debated straight away and everyone please watch and listen on http://www.rcn.org.uk/newsevents/congress/2012/archive_webcast Item 30E NMC fees As the only RCN rep in my region, I work extremely hard in very difficult circumstances and always do my best. Nobody seems to want to be a rep .... wonder why?

Anonymous | 21-May-2012 8:30 am You're absoulutely right, however nurses are not good at sticking together in these matters and that is what the NMC and the RCN rely on. We have no real support. We should support ourselves and its about time we did so as things are not going to get better. If any RCN stewards (and I know there will be many) are reading this - what have you done/will you do TODAY to address this issue? Please let us know in this comment section. We'd be glad to hear from you :-) Speaking as a RCN steward, it's up to the whole RCN memberships to be asking themselves what do THEY want the unions to do about it. Don't just leave things to the stewards and let's not have the apathy from the membership that was apparent in the pension votes.
