Nursing Times Top 100

Nursing Times Top 100

How does your organisation rate as a place for nurses to work? The Nursing Times Top 100 survey is your chance to find out.

The Nursing Times Top 100, in association with NHS Employers, is open to both NHS and independent employers, to charitable organisations, care homes and the armed forces – in fact anywhere nurses work. This exciting initiative, now in its third highly successful year, surveys both employers and their nursing employees to find out just how good an employer your organisation is.

- How well do you manage personal training and development?

- Are you a family-friendly employer?

- Do flexible working arrangements encourage staff retention?

- Do you promote equality and diversity in your nursing workforce?

- How strong is the nursing voice within your organisation?

This is what some previous winners had to say about their inclusion in the NT Top 100:

'Entering the NT Top 100 competition was a positive experience for all concerned, giving us an opportunity in a hectic work schedule to consider the positive aspects of our roles and the environment we work in. Achieving 14th place overall nationally & 1st place for "Healthy Workplace Employer" was a motivational acknowledgment of all the professional nursing involvement across the service.'

Peter Morris

National Autistic Society

'Entering the Nursing Times Top 100 survey and doing so well gave our organisation a real shot in the arm.  The fact that the results were based on staff votes gave it important credibility.  As an organisation we don't tend to pat ourselves on the back too much.  Winning this award has added to the internal 'feel good' factor and helped in attracting nurses to us.'
