I am a staff nurse working in a community hospital which provides rehabillitation and end of life care.
I have worked at this hospital for 23 years and really enjoy it.
I am happily married with no children. I enjoy foreign holidays, swimming, aqua aerobics, aerobics, zumba and reading.
In april 2011 I did the 10 mile midnight walk raising £400, for the Thorpe Hall Sue Ryder Hospice where my mum sadly died in November 2009.

Comment on: One Flaw In Nurses
What a lovely poem and so heartfelt. Also very true - we often forget our worth and need someone to remind us of it. I have been a nurse caring for the elderly for 24 years and love my job and I really enjoyed your poem and am going to copy it out and put it on the wall of our office for all of my wonderful workmates to see.
