Dairy products reduce metabolic syndrome risk
A pint of milk a day or a helping of dairy foods protects against metabolic syndrome, a study has shown.
The study of 2375 men aged between 45 and 59 in Wales found they were 62% less likely to have metabolic syndromeif they drank a pint or more of milk every day, and 56% less likely to have it if they regularly ate other dairy produce.
