Welsh nurses complete Nursing Times Leadership Challenge
More than 150 Welsh nurses competed in the inaugural Nursing Times Leadership Challenge Cymru earlier this week.
The event, which took place in Cwmbran on 11 June, was organised by Nursing Times in partnership with the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare, which is part of NHS Wales.
Teams from health organisations throughout Wales developed their leadership skills by running the management team of a fictional health community.
Health minister for Wales Edwina Hart presented awards to the winning teams, which together formed the health community that was judged to be the best. The winning teams were NW Wales NHS Betsi, Cwm Taf NHS Trust team B and Vale of Glamorgan local health board.
