Eating disorder unit will create new nurse jobs
Middleton St. George Hospital has announced plans to open a specialist inpatient eating disorders unit in January 2010.
The hospital is recruiting for several positions including mental health nurses, clinical psychologists, CBT therapists and dieticians.
The hospital held an open day on Thursday September 10 which included presentations from senior staff, who answered questions on working with people who suffer from eating disorders. Successful applicants will be given extensive training..
Deputy HR Manager at the hospital Gary Adams said: “This is an exciting new development and we are delighted to be able to provide recruitment opportunities for people in the area.”
