Memory loss campaign launched
A campaign urging people who are worried about their memory to seek help as soon as possible has been launched by the Alzheimer’s Society.
The charity is warning that many people with memory problems put off going to see their GP or seeking other medical help, and that only around one third of people with dementia ever receive a formal diagnosis.
The charity is distributing 10,000 leaflets and posters to GP surgeries.
Online training units, written and reviewed by experts. Earn two hours' CPD and a personalised certificate for your portfolio.
