Among the winners were Susanne Darra and Marian Mclvor, midwifery lecturers from Swansea University, who were rewarded for ‘Jessica Tate: a virtual pregnancy’- a system which uses video and audio to help students understand all aspects of pregnancy and birth
Meanwhile two midwives from Forth Park Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Pamela Cooke and Doreen Brunton, won for a scheme that has almost doubled their unit’s normal delivery birth rates.
