NHS Employers has launched a flexible retirement guide to help NHS trusts in England retain older staff who wish to change their working hours with minimal impact on their pension scheme.
Director of core services Gill Bellord said: “Evidence has shown that although many staff approaching retirement age would like to keep working they would prefer to work in a different way, for example, part time or in a less demanding role.”
