World Cup criticised for promoting fast foods

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) is sending out the wrong health message by having McDonalds and Coca Cola as sponsors or partners for the World Cup, according to the World Cancer Research Foundation.

The charity said it meant that millions of children who will watch the event, which is due to kick off on 11 June, would be subjected to marketing of unhealthy foods and drinks.

  • Coca Cola Corp. and McDonalds Corp. would like to remind the public of all age groups that consuming their crap in moderation will kill you moderately slower... or some other propaganda "Product health information"

Unsuitable or offensive? .... err which one, Coca Cola or McDonalds?
