Diabetes gliclazide released in 40mg dose
A gliclazide for type 2 diabetes has been launched for the first time in a 40mg dose.
The product, launched under the name Zircon by Bristol Laboratories, allows patients to titrate up from the lowest possible dose without have to break 80mg tablets in half, which they previously had to do.
