Impotent men are being urged to undergo medical tests after research found that a significant proportion of men with erectile dysfunction exhibit early signs of coronary heart disease.
The research, led by Dr Graham Jackson, chair of the Sexual Advice Association, found that men with erectile dysfunction often developed coronary symptoms within two to three years of impotence, and experienced a cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack, within three to five years.
