QNI aims to raise £150,000 for district nursing anniversary

The Queen’s Nursing Institute is aiming to raise £150,000 to mark the 150th anniversary of district nursing next year.

The charity is hoping to find nurses to help reach its target by taking part in the London 10k run, which takes place in the capital next July.

All of the money will be used by the QNI to continue to provide grants and free advice to community nurses UK wide.

Meanwhile, the QNI has launched an updated version of its website.

Rosemary Cook, QNI director, said, ‘The website has become increasingly important to us over the past few years as we publish more documents and share information online.

‘People need to be able to find the information that they need quickly and easily and that’s what the new site is designed to do.’
