Minimising the use of restraint in care homes for older people: creative approaches

    hallelujah .please can we have some more.
    this is a very enlightened manager,top marks.
    And while we are at it giving residents freedom of choice can we please disallow those staff who smoke having a quickie before doing the rounds, especially where they are in fact about to perform hands on care ,where they are actually invading the residents space,ie care of the incontinent resident. the resident will then be spared from the most disgusting smell of second hand smoke. which the carer is carrying about her/his person.
