Premature baby charity launches going-home pack for parents
Premature baby charity Bliss has launched a new going-home pack for parents of sick and premature babies.
The pack contains information including advice on weaning babies, breastfeeding premature babies and financial advice.
There is also a voucher booklet from childcare product companies and the pack will be sent to neonatal units throughout the UK.
Bliss family support manager, Carmel Bartley, said: ‘We are thrilled to be able to offer our new Going Home Pack to families of sick and premature babies. From speaking to parents and health professionals across the country we found there was a huge demand for a pack like this and we are delighted to be launching the first of its kind. We hope that it will support tens of thousands of parents in making the important change from hospital to home with their baby.’
