The MHRA has launched a consultation on allowing student midwives access to parenteral medicines, which can currently be administered by registered midwives under an exemption in medicines legislation.

First hospital nurse school deferred

Heart of England Foundation Trust has postponed plans to build England’s only hospital based school of nursing. The decision comes at the same time as concerns have arisen over a culture of “learned helplessness” among its nurses.

On the 9th July 2010, Education for Health held the graduation of another 25 healthcare professionals at a ceremony, which took place at St Mary’s Church, Warwick.
