Nurses gain new prescribing adviser

Professor Molly Courtenay has been named prescribing adviser at the Association for Nurse Prescribing.
In this role, professor Courtenay will: provide professional advice to nurses on prescribing and medicines management; promote the benefits of nurse prescribing to service planners; work at a strategic level with national groups such as the Nurse Prescribers Advisory Group and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry; and coordinate the CPD accreditation process for nurse prescribers.
Professor Courtenay's full-time role is professor of prescribing and medicines management at Reading University.
