I'm seeing many more young peple asking for mole checks. They do seem more aware, but there will always be those who ignore warnings. Tanning beds/tubes should be banned from all gyms to reduce the temptation for the `perfect tan'
Nurses were important members of the PCG and PCT boards since their inception. Many have the appropriate skills to enhance the CCGs - probably come down to not wanting to pay for the skills!
Again it's the fault of the NHS. Any ideas, folks, how to drag peoplel to their regular reviews, prevent the cream cakes and chips being consumed and get them walking? Wake up, government - we're trying as hard as we can!
altho in theory access at home is good, in practice this will remove the opportunity for continued sexual health education/screening. thos ewith enough gumph to take the MAP will access it through the current channels
We still need to be encouraging barrier protection - if used then chlamydia should not be so much of a problem
This takes me back to student days...the same colours....but green for SEN's . We seem to have gone 3/4 of the circle - bring in a laundry servcie and we'll have done the full circle. It IS important that paitients can identify who they are speaking to. As a nurse, gaining the buckle and red belt was the ultimate accolade - senior staff nurse. Those were the days.... no shortage of jeye clothes, soap, nighties, pillows ....
Er.. please share with me how mum and dad couch/slob are going to show any interest in little slob's lack of activity? This should prove interesting....
there was no malnutirion, only occ pressure sores and plenty of dignity when student nurses and `the kardex' ruled. we lost all this in the name of `progress' ... and don't expect to see it return
Memories of people panicking over technology in ITU while the patient was happily drinking a cup of tea - very much alive and well!
I thought pharmacists also checked prescription charts? is this not the case any more?
