TWO senior nurses from Glenside Manor, which provides specialist neuro-rehabilitation, have won a scholarship to study brain injury recovery centres in the US.

TWO senior nurses from Glenside Manor, which provides specialist neuro-rehabilitation, have won a scholarship to study brain injury recovery centres in the US.

Sally Davis and Andrew Norman won the Florence Nightingale Foundation Scholarship to study the role of the nurse in cognitive rehabilitation therapy and to challenge traditional models of post-acute traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

Denis Barry, managing director of Glenside Manor, said: ‘This study will be an enormous benefit to the treatment in our new brain injury rehabilitation hospital.’
