The team at ERIC is celebrating the success of the Banish the Wee Horror campaign winning at this years West of England Pride Awards.

The campaign won the Gold award in the not-for-profit categoryat the awards last week.

The Banish the Wee Horror campaign was launched in June to raise awareness of ERIC and its services. The campaign promotes the information and support easily available for over half a million children and young people who wet the bed.

Jenny Perez, ERIC Director said; “We are so pleased our Banish the Wee Horror campaign has been recognised at these prestigious awards. Winning the Gold award is a great achievement given the strength of the competition.

“Bedwetting affects over 500,000 children and teenagers every night, but the scale of the problem remains hidden, partly because people find it embarrassing to talk about. Currently, only one in three affected families come forward for help. The Banish the Wee Horror campaign reassures children and parents that they are not alone with the problem.”
