Three nurses from Cardiff and Vale NHS Trusthave been awarded 'Florence Nightingale Travel Scholarships'.

Three nurses from Cardiff and Vale NHS Trusthave been awarded 'Florence Nightingale Travel Scholarships'.

Susan Mogford, lead pain management nurse, will study pain management in Australia; Ward sister Alison Carlick will look at quality accreditation systems in the US and Australia; and clinical teacher Maire Davies-Lyons will look at mentorship around the UK.

The scholarships are awarded for projects connected with the applicant's field of work and which will benefit patients. The amount given is dependent on the scale of the project.
