The Queens Nursing Institute (QNI) has developed a new tool to help community nurses better manage their money.

The Queens Nursing Institute (QNI) has developed a new tool to help community nurses better manage their money.

The CD rom, entitled 'Money Management', explains everything nurses need to know about financial planning, and was developed in consultation with the Financial Services Authority, the National Debtline, the NHS Pensions Agency and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

'We'd received a lot of requests for financial assistance relating to debt which we are unable to assist with,' QNI Welfare administrator Joanne Moorby told NT. 'This includes information on state, NHS and private pensions, National Insurance contributions, debt advice, early retirement and sickness and redundancy amongst other things,' she added.

Nurses can email deborah.hinds@qni.org.ukfor a copy.
