    Im also a type one diabetic who in september will start my nursing training. Diabetes Uk may have used to be the best charity for you now but i seems to now be more conerned with the elderly and type two diabetes so recommendations need to be given to JDRF.

    I also have a pump which is amazing and i totally agree with you that most hospitals would not know what an insulin pump is and most people think its an ipod due to a tube.

    I also have a USB blood meter which automaticly records blood results and comes uo on the computer so no need for trying to write down results :)
