Acute care nurse Carole Olding (pictured) hit the small screen this week, as part of a new daytime TV series called Hospital Heroes on BBC1.

The series, Hospital Heroes, which will be broadcast every weekday at 9.15am for one month, profiles the work of nurses, doctors and other health professionals at King’s College Hospital in London.

It focuses on the work of staff in the hospital’s A&E department. Camera crews were present 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the duration of filming in June and July.
