Increasing your vitamin D intake could help to tackle certain aspects of asthma, a new study has found.
The American research, which involved a review of almost 60 years of literature on vitamin D and asthma, found evidence suggesting that increased airway hyperresponsiveness, lower lung functions and inferior asthma control were associated with vitamin D deficiencies in asthma sufferers.
