That’s why we offer financial guidance for anyone who has been affected by cancer, whether they’re recently diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment or adjusting to life after cancer.
To provide this support, we’ve set up a dedicated financial guidance service which offers help with understanding financial products and how they work. We’re here to simplify the jargon and explain the options. We can explain your pension options when considering early retirement or offer guidance on insurance policies and claims. We can even help work out a budget and review the options if someone’s struggling to make mortgage repayments.
The financial guidance service is here to make sure that everyone gets a fair deal and we’ve already helped so many people by easing the stress that financial worries can cause.
Making sure people affected by cancer get a fair deal
Mr Kinsey called Macmillan because his PPI claim had been declined. Macmillan appealed on his behalf to the company and finally to the Ombudsman, who reviewed the case. The Ombudsman ruled in Mr Kinsey’s favour, his loan was paid off in full and he received a payment compensation.
