Free service aims to reduce money worries following cancer diagnosis

  • Comment

Macmillan has teamed up with Nationwide building society to pilot a free, independant service offering financial advice and support to people affected by cancer.

Money worries are common after a cancer diagnosis. That’s why Macmillan runs a free and independent Financial Guidance Service, offering people affected by cancer over-the-phone support on everything from mortgages to pensions, and insurance to savings.

In an extension to this we’re now working closely with Nationwide building society, which is piloting a phone service to help their customers make informed financial decisions after a cancer diagnosis. Our team will refer eligible Nationwide customers directly to the service.

Please help by telling your patients about Macmillan’s Financial Guidance Service and the support available to them.
They can speak to one of our experts free on 0808 808 00 00.
