This Taskforce proposed a new five-year Cancer Strategy for England. If fully funded and implemented, its recommendations will help mitigate the increasing costs of care and significantly improve quality of life for people affected by cancer.

Our new report Cancer Cash Crisis – Counting the cost of care beyond treatment looks in detail at how NHS England currently spends money on cancer services and the serious financial challenge cancer poses the NHS in the future. The report sets out new evidence to support the case for urgent action on cancer funding, with a focus on the previously unknown cost of post-treatment care.
