Macmillan’s online community–providing support to people whenever they need it

Please tell your patients and their families about Macmillan’s online community. It’s a friendly and secure place where people can connect with others going through similar situations. There are discussions about a whole host of topics, and specific groups for people with a particular type of cancer, or who live in the same area. There are also groups for those living after cancer, carers, and for bereaved spouses, partners or families, to provide additional support.

Daloni, one of the community users, says ‘I found being here in this community an enormous source of comfort, information, support and love’.

Accessible 24-hours a day, the community is somewhere that people can go to find support whenever they need it.
