  • I think a web chat is a good idea but has limitations in terms of what any one individual can contrubute. I am a nurse, but also a cancer survivor. In many ways nurses and pstchologists take the WRONG approach and concentrate too much on the negative aspects in gaining a healthy lifestyle following cancer. The patient needs to be reassured that survival is possible in the long term and is anyone's privilege. Cancer survivors are positive people. We have to be. Do nurses care enough? No!!
