Young cancer survivors do better at school

Adults who survived cancer during their childhood are more likely to be successful at school and be employed, according to a study.

Despite these achievements, German researchers found that it took longer for the cancer survivors to enter the workforce.

Some neuropsychological late effects also became a barrier to graduation from university and productive employment.
